South Shields (Sandhaven)
We are sited towards the south end of Sandhaven Beach – near the Surf School – between the two car parks. Use either Trow Quarry Car Park (usually more spaces) or the Car Park next to the Sandancer Pub / Colemans fish.
There is paid parking just across the promenade at Trow Quarry Car Park. £0.60 p for the first hour – £1 hour thereafter. Use coins or the App.
Longsands (Cullercoats)
We are sited at the north end of Longsands Beach – near ‘The View’ – St George’s Church end. An approximate address for the sat nav is Beverley Gardens, NE30 4NS.
There are a few parking spaces on the road leading down to ‘The View’; the machine is card only as is the large Beaconsfield Car Park on Grande Parade. Further afield, there is free parking in the residential areas.
The parking wardens are ‘on it’! Please don’t get caught out.
Cullercoats Bay
We will be sited on the south side of the beach (opposite the lifeboat launch side).
There is free parking available in Belle View St behind the Cullercoats Crescent Club & Institute or near to the Victoria Court Sheltered Housing. There is also a large paid carpark (requires card payment) next to St George’s Church opposite, Longsands Beach.
